Detox water have become very popular and there are many different recipes that you can make. Detox water is any infused water recipe that helps flush your system of toxins and improves your health. Some detox water recipes have beneficial ingredients which help your body in some ways (like boost metabolism, weight loss), but the main beneficial ingredient is water. Detox water is great to bring along with you and sip all day as a delicious hydrating treat. Here are 5 healthy detox water:
1. Honey, Lemon and Ginger
Ingredients
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 1 glass warm water
How to Prepare
1. Heat a glass of water. Do not boil it.
2. Crush the ginger.
3. Add the lemon juice, crushed ginger, and honey to the glass of warm water.
4. Drink it while it is still warm.

  • Honey contains vitamins and minerals such as calcium, copper, potassium, magnesium, manganese, and zinc. It helps in metabolizing cholesterol and fatty acids. Honey has a good glycaemic index and promotes better digestion.
  • Lemon helps in cutting down extra body fat by helping in mobilizing bile from the liver to the small intestine.
  • Ginger is used in many food recipes and is a good source of antioxidants. It has anti-inflammatory properties and soothes the gastrointestinal tract.

2. Mango, Mint and Coriander  
Ingredients
  • Green Mango
  • Mint leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • Thinly sliced carrots
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin seed powder

How to Prepare
1. Pour water into a jar.
2. Roughly chop a few mint leaves and a few coriander leaves.
3. Thinly slice half a carrot.
4. Toss the carrots and herbs into the water.
5. Add a bit of roasted cumin seed powder and stir well.

  • Mango is rich in vitamins, mineral and antioxidants and has been associated with many health benefits, including potential anticancer effects as well as improved immunity, digestive, eye, skin and hair health. Green mangoes are rich in vitamins C, A, and B, pectin (prevents the formation of stone), and minerals such as calcium, potassium, phosphorus, and magnesium.   • Apple cider vinegar
  • Cinnamon
  • Water

How to Prepare
1. Add two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, one tablespoon of ground cinnamon and a liter of water.

4. Cucumber, Lemon and Mint
Ingredients
  • 1 liter water
  • Cucumber
  • Lemon
  • Fresh mint leaves

How to Prepare
1. Cut the cucumbers into thick slices and the lemon into wedges.
3. Toss the cucumbers and the lemon wedges together.
4. Now, add the roughly chopped or crushed mint leaves.
5. Pour water all the way up to the top of the jug.
6. Keep it in the fridge overnight.
7. Add ice cubes when you want to drink it.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup watermelon
  • 1 tablespoon flax-seed powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon fennel seed powder
  • A pinch of black salt

How to Prepare
1. Toss the watermelon into a blender and give it a spin.
2. Pour the juice into a glass.
3. Add flax-seed powder, fennel seed powder, and black salt and stir well.
