Fruits
are the part of healthy diet and they provide us abundant of nutrients. They provide
us vitamin, minerals and most fruits are naturally low in fat, sodium, and
calories. None have cholesterol. Fruits are sources of many essential nutrients
that are under-consumed, including potassium, dietary fiber, vitamin C, and
folate (folic acid).
If your
child is fussy eater, don’t wanna eat fruits. I bring you the easiest and
creative way to introduce fruits in the form of popsicle. The
summer market is flooded with fruits and it’s time to bring home these natural,
nutritional wonders. Popsicle are the frozen form of fruit juices. Its super easy to make and will be loved
by children.
Watermelon Popsicle
Ingredients
1 cup of
chopped watermelon
15
strawberries
1 slice
of kiwi
5
chopped grapes
1-2 tbsp
of powdered sugar
Method
- In the mixer take all the ingredients except kiwi and grapes. Blend to smooth puree without adding water. Put the puree through a strainer to remove any pulp or seeds.
- Place kiwi slices in each popsicle mold and pour the prepared juice but leave 1 inch of space on the top in the mold and freeze them for 1 hour then add chopped grapes on top and put the pops back into the freezer to finish freezing.
- To easily remove the popsicles from the mold, dip in the glass of water for 5 second and serve it.
