Haldi wala doodh was my biggest nightmare as a child. I was forced to drink a glass of haldi doodh (turmeric milk/golden milk) every time I fell sick but with the  time I have learned how good this simple home remedy is to beat the everyday tiredness and anxiety. As you all know that Turmeric is the yellow spice used in Asian curries. It is obtained from the ginger-like rhizome of Curcuma longa, a tropical herb from India. You Will Need 
  • 1-inch raw turmeric (kachi haldi) piece/ half teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 glass of milk
  • Honey (or any sweetener) 
  • Half inch ginger & Half stick of cinnamon (You can add this for more benefits)
What You Need To Do

  1. Begin the process by dropping one-inch turmeric piece or half teaspoon turmeric, ginger and cinnamon in a pan.
  2. Add milk and let it boil for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. If you want, you can add half a teaspoon of your choice of sweetener.
  4. Strain the prepared turmeric and milk drink and pour it into a glass.
  5. Drink this incredible drink while it’s nice and warm.
