Blog85: Avoid Eating these 5 "Health Food"

Hello Everyone.. It's been a long time I didn't post anything.. Hope you all doing good. So, today I'm talking about five food which are healthy (we think but they are not) but we should avoid these foods. Top of my list is:
1. Digestive Biscuits: Digestive biscuits means fibre, oats, ragi biscuits etc. These biscuits filled with sugar, refined flour (maida), fats, sodium because it's easy to produce in large scale from refined flour. As we all know work ability of refined flour is so good and it's easy to make refined flour's dough. If they (company) add wheat, the dough started breaking just because of fibre in it. So, they do add 15% or 10% of wheat/fibre and claim it's 100% healthy wheat biscuits, ragi biscuits, oats biscuits and so on. In short they are made up of hidden ingredients, unhealthy calories and highly processed. We still eating bunch of hidden sugar, fats, refined flour and sodium in the name of digestive or health biscuits.
2. Muesli and Granola: These are also filled with sugar. They are tasty, flavoured and sugary as well. These companies target to school going children, teenagers and also parents that they are healthy, easy to make, complete food blah blah. They are coated with sugar and preservatives, try to find the uncoated or plain muesli or stop buying this. You can make your healthy mixture at home.. just add roasted oats, some cashew nuts, almond or your favourite dry fruits, some seeds like chia seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, add milk and your breakfast is ready to eat. You can add honey for sweetness.
3. Ketchup/ Mayonnaise/ Sandwich Spreads: What we think these are fat free, we can eat and enjoy tasty sandwiches.. no! no! There is no fat free mayonnaise. They only cut down some percent of fat and claim it's far free. They are processed, contain emulsifiers, stabilizers in huge amount. They add dangerous chemicals and they don't even name it that is why they create code e.g; emulsifiers ( EM1/ EM2) etc. You can add ghee to your diet instead of mayonnaise, you can make chutneys at home and can make salsa as well.
4. Packed Juices: No added sugar, no preservatives, these are fresh juices.. hahaha, come on you can't expect the fresh juice which comes to tetra pack. These juices are really harmful, it contains lots of sugar, preservatives which stored directly to your liver and these days fatty liver, obesity like diseases is so common. They use poor quality of fruits in it. So, say no to packed juices. It’s always better to have freshly prepared juice rather than packaged juice and consume fresh fruits over fresh juice.
5. Brown Bread: I always prefer brown bread instead of the white one but these days in India they add colour in the bread and called it brown bread. Try to purchase brown bread from trusted bakeries. So, choose your products wisely and must read the labels behind the products.
That's all for today.. hope you like it. Don't forget to follow me on Instagram and like my Facebook page. See you soon.
Thank You.
